"It’s like we always used to talk about, who could beat whom when it came to just power on power. Blockade versus the Living Diamond. Nick Napalm or Aquamarine. Grab Bag against the Bricoleur."
Superhero, nth-generation Atlantean princess. Long interbred with human beings, every once in a while the Atlantean phenotype expresses itself in pure form, resulting in a person of Aquamarine's abilities. Although she knows only a few words of Atlantean, she commands ocean water in its element, and can breathe it for any length of time. The politics of Atlantean royalty are Byzantine and largely academic, but she is still occasionally visited by supplicants urging her to claim the empty throne.

Okay, so, she's got Life Support: Underwater Breathing, one level of Atlantean Language, she's got a "Watched" Disadvantage based on her background, and maybe a 2-pt. Perk of "Atlantean Royalty."
Are her other abilities mentioned in the book?
Gotta' love Atlanteans! Nice description and homage to the great tradition from the history big two's silver age. Let's see, does she have the other obligatory/classic Atlantean powers as well: being able to converse with/"command" sea life, moderate super strength, resistance to high pressure (ocean depths, some kind of echolocation, and resistance extreme cold (again, ocean environment stuff). So, I'm an Aquaman fan from way back. Thanks for this character. Can we perhaps see her make an appearance in the next novel may haps????
Btw, Jim, do I detect a Champions the RPG background? If so, imho, it's still the best pnp Supers RPG around. Ahhhh...those were the days. Oh and I'm hearing good things about Champions Online. I may actually dust off my old Champions characters and a few of them a go in said MMO.
