Out in Paperback!

The paperback edition of Soon I Will Be Invincible launches today from Vintage Books! It is a gorgeous object - glossy, luminous, gemlike, glowing with inward power. Acquire one!

Fantastic! WIll there ever be a graphic novel version, or would that defeat the idea of it?

Dear Austin:

In the spanish newspaper ABC, I had just read yesterday a very enthusiastic review of your novel. It´s signed by Rodrigo Fresán, a very smart argentine critic, and a very good writer himself. Here I will try to translate the last paragraph. "Muy pronto seré invencible does not wish to be THE great American Novel, neither ONE great American Novel, but at the end is something more rare, and not for that less ambitious: a novel made of an indestructible body, privileged brain, but also, with the most sensitive and melancholic of the hearts. And besides the novel flys. Flys very high." After reading this review, I am looking forward to get hold of one copy of your book. I will try at amazon. Congratulations.

Ernesto that's fantastic! The translator must have really nailed it - it sounded like she would. I really appreciate your posting - you've made my week.

Thanks
